About Me
Welcome! I’m Kaitlyn. I’m a wife and stay-at-home-mom whose passionate about all things home (I do spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week there…or so it feels…)! My husband and I were high school sweethearts and have been together for 13 years and married for 8! We have 3 beautiful little girls. If I’m not playing with the kiddos, I can be found working on my next reno project. I love the modern farmhouse style and all things DIY. I love tackling projects on my own (with occasional help from the hubby!) and am constantly learning new skills. My husband and I are working to build our hobby farm and have so many plans for its future.
Facts about our hobby farm:
- We have almost 6 acres in Upstate South Carolina
- We currently have 1 pot belly pig, 5 dogs, and 8 chickens
- Of our 5 dogs, 2 are rescue mutts and 3 are purebred Great Pyrenees! We have a momma and daddy and one of their babies has found her furever home with us!
- Our next addition is going to be another pot belly to hopefully breed with our male!
- Our 8 hens are Sapphire Gems and they are great egg-layers
- We have plans to get goats and horses

- We are car people. My husband and I both enjoy modifying and racing our cars
- My husband taught ME how to cook (better)
