A Sweet Baby Brunch Shower
Welcome to the first post of my new series! Pereira’s Parties! In addition to raising our babies, building our hobby farm, and DIYing our home, I LOVE throwing parties! It is such a large passion of mine and a great creative outlet! So I figured every few weeks I’ll post a previous party I’ve thrown and include all of the fun stuff we did to keep with each theme! I’m going to start this series with my latest party. The baby shower for our little girl! We did a Baby Brunch Shower. We got to throw this party at my momma’s house and we showcased her new fireplace makeover!

The Theme
Our theme for this party was Baby Brunch Shower! Because who doesn’t love breakfast foods?! This was the ADORABLE invitation!
Decor
For the decor, we had a few central design spots. The first being the front porch. My mom made a diaper wreath for the front door.
Then I bought a piece of acrylic at lowes and painted the back of it with the leftover paint from the accent wall in her nursery, which was also a theme color. I then used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut the white vinyl letters. I genuinely love my Cameo! It gets used just about every holiday, party, and gift I can!
The second central set up location was living room. It was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE set up of the whole party! We used this greenery as the backdrop and added a light curtain similar to this one. Then purchased 2 of these balloon arch kits. But there were many balloons left over. We strung this jute from mantle corner to mantle corner and used these clothes pins to hang baby outfits in the theme colors. Adding baby photos of the big-sisters-to-be to kept them involved in the process and they loved seeing their pictures! We finished the space off with a comfy chair for the mama-to-be to sit and socialize and open gifts.
The third location we focused on decor was the food table. At the food table, we kept decor at a minimum to keep the food the focal point. We laid this butcher paper down across the entire island and placed this garland weaving around the displays. At the top corners of the island, I placed 2 of these large balloons at either end and used this string to secure them.
Tablescapes
Next was our tablescapes. We kept it simple with an ivory linen tablecloth on our fold-out table, blush runner, dark wooden charges, and these beautiful blush plastic plates. Then, we used large 32 oz. Mason jars with fresh babies’ breath mixed with faux flowers we had laying around, clear water beads, and waterproof lights.
Finally, for the Mom-osa bar, we had champagne and sparkling cider, juice, and fresh fruit for garnishing! We used these pretty cups to add a touch of fancy.
Favors
With the favors, we got to use one of the templates we got from this cute little etsy shop! We used the chocolate bar wraps and taped them around simple Hershey chocolate bars. We purchased cookies from a local baker. Then, we had an AMAZING friend make the most beautiful handmade soaps, but I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures of them! All of these little touches really helped continue the Baby Brunch Shower theme!
Games & Activities
We did a number of fun games and activities throughout the course of the party! We did a diaper raffle. Everyone who brought diapers or wipes got to fill out a raffle ticket to be entered to win a number of prizes! We also did several paper games from the etsy shop linked here! Invited by Cass has amazing quality download files that are printable! We had ours sent to Office Depot and got to pick what card stock or paper we wanted each print on!
Food
The pregnant mommas favorite part! The food. We had a number of places catering this! We did bagels from Panera. Pancakes, eggs, and bacon from Cracker Barrel. And munchkin donut holes from Dunkin Donuts. In addition to that, we had French toast sticks in these adorable fry boxes, yogurt in these little parfait cups, muffins, mini cupcakes and donuts, and homestyle potatoes in the crockpot. We used these cute little syrup dispensers for maple syrup. As for toppings, we had 3 different flavors of cream cheese(plain, strawberry, veggie), peanut butter, Nutella, fresh fruit, an assortment of jams, granola, and whipped cream! We used these coffee cups so everyone could take to go.
