Front Door Makeover

Recently, we painted the front of our brick house white. You can check out how that went here. **Spoiler Alert** It went amazing! I am so in love! However there is one part that I’m not as in love with. The porch. It all just blends. The white house, with the white columns, and the white door was just too much for me and I needed something to visually break up the white. So I focused on what would be the most dramatic, budget friendly option: the front door.

So here it is. Our front door in all its dated glory. The white and gold combination was just not visually appealing to me so I decided I wanted to go bold! I chose a black semi-gloss paint and went for it! This is what I started with.

I am so happy with the end result. The black really makes a bold statement and visually breaks up the space. Check out how it looks from afar!
