Master Bedroom
The master bedroom. It’s supposed to be a calm, tranquil place where you sit back and relax. Kick your feet up after a long days work. But our space. Definitely not tranquil. Or welcoming. Or calming. This is how the previous owner set up the room.
Notice the bed against the window? We have beautiful (almost) floor to ceiling windows that span (almost) the entire length of that wall! I wanted to capitalize on them and take in all the natural light we could! So we placed our bed on the other wall.
However, even with some new furniture placement we knew the room needed something. It was seriously lacking. We wanted to keep the budget tight here so we chose to keep it simple. We went with a fresh coat of dark grey paint and a new chandelier to replace the ceiling fan.
See what a dramatic difference paint, lighting, and furniture make!?! We now have a calm tranquil space to relax. This room is so cozy now all I wanna do is cuddle up in bed on Pinterest planning the next project!
